About Course
The NQF 4 qualification with SAQA ID 118714 is the nationally recognised Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent, designed to prepare learners to operate as qualified real estate practitioners in South Africa. It enables learners to guide and facilitate transactions in buying, selling, letting, financing, and managing immovable property .
It is essential for anyone aiming to become a licensed real estate agent in South Africa, combining theoretical knowledge, practical training, and workplace experience, culminating in a standardized exam (EISA) and optional professional designation exam (PDE4).

Comprises 150 credits across:
- Knowledge modules (38 credits)
- Practical skills modules (37 credits)
- Workplace experience modules (75 credits)Â
Entry Requirements
- Minimum: NQF Level 3 (Grade 11) qualificationÂ
- Must be registered with PPRA (Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority)
- Hold a Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)Â

By completion, learners are expected to be able to:

Assessment & Certification Path
- Complete Knowledge & Practical modules, then submit results to PPRA.
- Obtain FFC and complete the workplace experience within 180 days.
- Successfully pass the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA)—a central final exam for the qualification.
- Upon qualification, you may sit the PDE4 exam to become a non-principal property practitioner.
